This delightful project was all about adding living space and reconfiguring a compartmentalized floor plan, while preserving the nostalgic character of this 1960’s mountain home. The new additions on the north and south ends of the house needed to feel as if they’d been part of the original design. Since our client grew up in this home and wanted to preserve her fond memories of it, our work on the inside was carefully thought through by a stellar project team. The resulting expanded kitchen and spacious prime bedroom suite serve to enhance quality of life in this beloved home, and we were so thrilled to add this project into our residential architecture portfolio in Colorado.
